▸ What is the Seedance API?

Seedance is a family of video generation models. Sosana exposes them through one async endpoint: POST /api/seedance/create-async, then poll the task or receive a webhook.

▸ How is Seedance billed?

Per second of output video; the per-second rate depends on tier and resolution — see the table above. Reference video is billed too: its length is added to the generated clip, because the provider charges input plus output seconds.

▸ Which models and resolutions are available?

seedance-2.0 at 480p/720p/1080p/4K, the cheaper seedance-2.0-fast and seedance-2.0-mini at 480p/720p, and seedance-2.5 at 480p/720p/1080p. The resolution is part of the alias.

▸ How long can a clip be?

4-15 seconds for the seedance-2.0 family and 4-30 seconds for seedance-2.5. Length is set per request via duration.

▸ Can I pass images, video or audio as input?

Yes — first_frame_url and last_frame_url, up to 10 reference images, plus reference videos and audio tracks via video_urls and audio_urls.

▸ How long does a render take?

Usually a few minutes, occasionally longer for 4K. Pass webhook_url and you never have to poll.
